Starting last weekend I felt compelled to wear a religious medal that my friend Darla gave to me a few years ago. I haven't worn it in a while and last weekend, something or someone told me that I should. It has been my daily reminder to ask God for peace and healing and to ask intercession from our Blessed Mother Mary. It has been a trying week. We are all tired. News of loss from both family and friends. Mike was traveling. Good friends are moving. And we had to euthanize Guinness, our canine companion. After 15 years, her health had declined rapidly in the last month and on Wednesday, she could no longer walk. She was a wonderful dog who we adopted almost 10 years ago. She loved us and loved our children. We are so thankful for her faithfulness. Rest in peace sweet dog.
Guinness was so gentle with the kids even as infants.Keeping watch with Julia

Oh I'm so sorry. It is a sad day when our beloved pets, who are really our first kids, have to leave us. I'm guessing Guiness had a fabulous 10 years.
Guinness will be missed! And Julie's move just means that you're going to have to visit Ga again sometime soon:) Much love to you all!
BTW...the word verification that I have to type in is the word "pregor"....I sure hope its you and not me that is pregors:)
