I love St. Patrick's Day. More than all of the other one day celebrations. Don't ask me why. Color themed days where we honor remarkable Catholic people always make me happy. The man converted the pagans and Druids he was enslaved by. We all donned our green clothes and enjoyed the very sunny, green day. The best part was perhaps the "under the covers" nap I took to catch up on some sleep. Take that back. It was the sugar cookies slathered in green icing.

We had sugar cookies with green icing, too. Except ours were premade from Walmart. Only you could work like a dog, care for 3 small children, AND make cookies. Overachiever! :-)
Can't believe I didn't think of cookies and green icing. My girls would have loved that! Next year...
