Today Julia had her Easter Celebration. She is our holiday girl. If something has been declared a holiday, she is ready to celebrate. If only Cazin felt the same way. He totally rained on her parade today and I'm sure the TKA class didn't enjoy hearing him cry during the egg hunt. I was having flashbacks of Julia's summer ballet camp performance. Me trying to shush Cazin while trying to simultaneously keep Ella happy and snap photos of Julia. I cannot wait till his 4th year of life comes around. Because year 3 is pretty rough. He almost had me in tears as well today as other moms looked on either out of pity or disgust at my inability to control my child. Not even bribery with cookies and juice boxes would clam him down. Even though I can hold my own with mean surgeons at work, I have certainly met my match: a 3 year old boy. But God bless Julia and her sunny disposition or rather obsession with parties.
And her great artwork. We finally were allowed to take home her self portrait that has been hanging outside the classroom. It is by far my favorite piece and I plan on setting aside some funds to frame that baby right. In Kinderart this past month the class studied Leonardo DaVinci or as Julia refers to him "the one who did Mona Lisa." Their project was to complete a self portrait using chalk. Since it was a few weeks ago, the only other tidbit of information that Julia shared was "he did draw a picture of the Last Supper."
Tomorrow is Cazin's Easter Celebration and I'm there will be no tears then. From either of us.
This is where Cazin preferred to stand during the festivities. Crying.
And pushing my buttons by standing so close to the drive.

That class is certainly packed with some mighty cute kids. Your sweet Julia being the cutest of course.
That portrait is awesome. I'm glad it's going to be framed.
Remember with Cazin...this too shall pass.
all I can say is...Oh Cazin. 3 yr old boys are something else.
I love Julia's self portrait. Always amazed by her art!
LOVE the self portrait. That girl has some skills.
Also, it really makes me realize how fast time goes by when I see Ella up and walking.
And as the mother of my own boy, can I just say misery loves company?!
That artwork is AMAZING!!!
your comment about hippa had me laughing. we constantly talk about how we wish we could write a book of all the hilarious things that happen at work. but alas, damn privacy rights.
