Special Weekend

There were four big reasons to rejoice this weekend.

1. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Hopke! John and Sam are hitched!

Ella's debut as a flower girl involved her walking sloooowly down the aisle, pausing in front of the altar then handing her basket to the maid of honor only to run back up the aisle flapping her arms towards the back of the church looking for me. Only I had made my way to my seat. Practice doesn't always make perfect. Below is a picture of the the cutest boy, Gabriel. His mama is Ella's Godmother and maybe her future mother-in-law. Arranged marriages still exist.

2. I survived my first wedding cake attempt without needing sedatives or secured padded room. It was pretty tasty, I dare say.

3. SSSSNNNNOOOOWWWW! Perfect timing in the falling as well as the melting.
