I know, I know...I am delinquent on the blogging. Where do I begin? Nothing like the present.
While getting the kids dressed this morning, I was barking orders at Julia. She likes to take her sweet time when getting dressed. After washing up, I told her to go get a fresh pair of underwear. She went and returned holding my new Hanes Her Way asking in a loud voice, "Why are these in my underwear bin? Who put these in there?"
Jokingly I said, "Are you sure they aren't yours?"
"I do NOT wear these big panties."
(Ouch.)
As she is holding them up I was between hysteria and horror. When I hold them up, they do not seem so big, but in the hands of my 4 year old they appear VERY LARGE. I have lost my baby weight as well as an additional 20 pounds. And while I am happy about that, Julia holding up my draws reminds me that I still have quite a bit of junk left in muh trunk.
Today was the finale of the tooth series. I received my crown and am wondering what will I do without seeing my dentist every 2 weeks?
Kristin took over School bus duties since I had to leave early for the dentist and I was grateful that it went well. Big progress: Cazin did not shed a tear this morning. Halfway down the hall he let go of Kristin's hand and ran to the Froggy class. At home he now says "Can't wait to see Miss Betty! Miss, Miss, Miss!" Next week: curbside drop-off.
The sponge that she is, Julia just soaks up all of the information. School is all that she can talk about. The meaning of "consequences," computer class, chapel, etc. I liked today's lesson: Obey thy father and mother. Since I was gone this morning, she easily slipped into the "mommy" role. I always enjoy hearing the stories. Kristin often tells me not to worry if I left anything out, because Julia is more than eager to give her the low down. Like directions to school. She was so worried that Kristin did not take the right exit and was driving in the wrong direction. From the Dairy Rd exit to the Park Rd exit she pleaded with Kristin to turn around. The girl cracks me up. She is such a small version of MFS. Tonight when John and human Sam came over for dinner she in his perfect inflection, "LISten!"
As well as blogging, I have missed photo opportunities. However, I did capture this little video gem which I am having technical difficulties uploading. I will try again tomorrow. That's right, tomorrow!

Congrats on the weight loss K! That's GREAT!!
Wow, this is a packed blog. Thanks for getting us caught up. Glad Cazin is doing so well in school. Glad your second in command, Miss Julia, is helping to keep things under control.
The panty story got me tickled. I am in the same boat, although I choose to think I could go down several sizes if I could ever make it to the store. NOT!
I keep meaning to tell you that you look great! =)
LMAO about the panties...but the question is, are you still the wearing sexy bras!!! And do you kids wear your bras on your head and pretend that they are coneheads? We did that to my mom's undergarments when we were young...
