The past 2 weeks we have cooled off at the pool during their swimming lessons. I can barely tear them away from the water using coercion (with a smile on my face so the other mothers won't call CPS) to get them out and into the van. I am happy that my kids are water babies and it seems they are doing pretty well listening and becoming more independent in the water. Much improved after the first disastrous day of lessons. That night when Mike saw a look of distress over my face, he took over bedtime duties and sent me shopping for paint and home decor. Alone. My man knows me so well. In the forecast tomorrow...much needed rain!

Girl, it is HOT down here, too. Almost hot enough for me to put on a swimsuit. Almost, but not quite.
