Last Day at Work

Today was my last day at Rivanna Family Medicine and it was bittersweet. Exciting because it means the baby's arrival is one day closer; sad because they really are the best group of people to work with. It is unclear whether or not I will go back to work after the baby is born, but for now I look forward staying at home with our newest blessing. I would love to return to RFM someday! To celebrate my last day and Amber's birthday we ate at Topeka's for lunch. There was a poll started among the staff (which began with a clarification of the rules by Dr. Sweeney of course) what the baby's gender and weight will be. Care to wager? When we returned, the best raspberry filled cake from Chandler's greeted us. It was just so sweet and beautiful with the baby booties and flowers. (I forgot to bring my camera so thank goodness for the trusty Polaroid! )

A huge thank you to Dr. Sweeney, Dr. Moors, Ann, Becky, Terri and Amber! You guys have been such a huge blessing these past few months and I have enjoyed every minute of working with all of you. I have learned so much and will miss you!
