Easter Celebration II

Before I forget, I must mention we had a very important visitor last night. The Tooth Fairy. This was her 2nd visit to the School house, the 1st after a very traumatic tooth extraction as the result of a nasty fall when Jujube was 3 years old. This tooth has been loose and "wiggly" for a few weeks now and I decided to nudge things along last night when I saw its replacement impatiently sprouting up behind it. Jujube was a trooper as always, but this time she didn't ask me to email the Tooth Fairy for a specific gift like she did with the Easter Bunny. (BTW earlier this week she asked me to "send and email to the Easter Bunny saying I choose paper dolls for my gift.") I awoke this morning with a glittered note and a dollar bill being shoved in my face as well as a toothless grin.

Today was Cazin's Easter celebration...and I missed it. After Jazzercise, Ella and I headed to the grocery store to shop for Easter dinner. I took too much time debating ham or lamb and then when I finally made my decision, I took too much time comparing ham prices. I'm sure the Easter egg hunt lasted all of 5 minutes and then the kids were ready for something else. With 2-3 year old kids, Miss Betty & Mrs. Beckett keep it pretty low key. Cazin didn't seem to miss me and promptly ate all the contents of his eggs (as you can see in the photo) with the help of Jujube on the ride home. I missed my photo opportunity of my clean and handsome boy. They have spent the last few weeks learning about colors and this week Cazin had to wear white or pink. Who knew this outfit would be so handy?

It has been beautiful outside and we have been taking advantage of the warm weather. Windows are open and the fans are turning. Today Jujube and I are planting tomatoes. We are trying the upside down planter contraption. I'm not much of a gardener, but I am ensured that it is fool proof. We'll see about that.
