Love is...

When picking up Cazin and Jujube from preschool today, Mrs. Beckett called me over to check out the board where she was hanging up the Valentine's artwork for the Froggies. In the middle was a big heart that had a bible verse about God and love. The other hearts around it said Love is... and a word that the child said. At first glance I see lots of "mommy and daddy" then she points out Cazin's...

Love is..."SALAD!"

Go figure. The boy hates vegetables. Today at dinner I thought I would ask again.

Love is...

Ella: "ba."

Julia: "Love is really loving others and loving God." While moving her arms around like she was signing a message.

Cazin: "Ummm...pizza"

What is love?

"What time is it?"

Hmmm...(take 3) Love is...

"Dinner."

Ha. I guess he also has a love affair with food like his mother.

Love is big sisters reading stories to her little siblings before bedtime.

The salad story cracked me up. The bottom picture made me tear up. You know it is a good blog when you can make 'em laugh and cry.

Hope you got LOTS of salad, pizza and beer for the next few days.

Cazin's got good taste.

I'm ready to crawl into that last picture and listen to a good story.
