candy and iron

Six years ago today Mike and I celebrated our Nuptial Mass at St. Joseph Church in Martinsburg, WV. It was great spending quality time together this morning and afternoon. Shopping for clothes and household necessities. Romantic, I know. But one of our favorite activities is going house window shopping. We have been known on a few occasions to purchase a house during these spontaneous outings. Didn't happen this time, but if the powerball ever is in our favor, I did find a house that I would make me plant deep lifetime roots in Charlottesville. Although we did not give each other the suggested gifts of candy and iron for our 6th anniversary, the house did have some sweet iron railings and fixtures. (Forgive me, its late.)

Our wedding was many years ago. The celebration continues to this day.

To MFS, my true companion, thank you for 6 years of limitless, life-giving love! And lots of laughter!
