I absolutely love the color of food. Sometimes when I chop veggies I put them all together and pause to admire the color palette before throwing them into a hot saute pan. The peaches at
Chile's Orchard were just beautiful. It was hard to stop picking at one bag full. We had a great time with the
Arbaughs and their friends who also live in Crozet. And it was great for Corena and Julia to finally meet as well as get the kids out into the sunshine.
I have a prayer request. Please pray for my friends the
Harveys who lost their father unexpectedly a few days ago. Lord, give them the light of your peace to guide them out of the darkness.
We will be on a blogging hiatus for a little spell. I will be at
Camp Fantastic all next week, the kids will hang out with Lola & Lola and MFS will be here, there and everywhere. Enjoy the last few weeks of summer!

It definitely was a peachy keen kind of day. Glad we got the Schools together with the Arbaughs. Let's do it again soon. Have a good week away!
Those peaches look delicious. I'm jealous. Even if I am down here in the Peach State!
