Blissfully tired

We are all blissfully tired from a weekend of packed activities after a week of work between the 2 hospitals. I'm hoping I won't have to do that again in the near future! Julia spent a girls weekend with Ninang in PA, and Cazin & Ella chilled with Lola & Lolo in WV while MFS and I ran around the Richmond Convention Center for the annual Richmond Diocesan Youth Conference. As I type, MFS is still hard at work in Richmond, but at one of our rental properties. I am so happy the end of our busy schedule was a weekend of blessings. Spending time with family for the kids and witnessing Christ's presence with 500+ participants for MFS and I. For the first time in years I was a Eucharistic Minister today and I became overwhelmed with love and emotion when distributing the precious blood. I think I need to work on showing Jesus my love for Him as He shows me on a daily basis through communion, adoration, my husband, my kids and my community. Truly amazing.

Now, I'm turning the blog over to Julia. She wrote a daily journal during her weekend with Ninang. I also gave her our old compact camera to document her girls weekend and a newly colored Claudius Crozet accompanied her on the journey.

I went to Lola and Lolo's. No one was thare. So I went to the bathroom. They got birds. They were love birds. Mommy is on the coch (couch).

We went swiming. And we had tea! They had mints! I liked the tea pots. Went to the Park. We went to McDnolds. I got a smrff (Smurf) prize and got some presents. Mama interjection: Ate took her to a tea house where they donned pretty dresses and had tea and treats. Julia loved every minute of it. And the girl is so sweet, she bought her mama and siblings presents. She knows I love jewelry, so she bought me a turquoise ring.

Today I went to the pool. And we went to the stret (street) fair. And we had pizza for dinner. I got shaved ice. I saw American Girl doll outfits.

I have a prayer request for our friend, Fr. Mike Boehling. He underwent emergency surgery last Friday night and I ask that you pray for God's healing and that he is given rest, ease of pain and swift recovery. He is such a holy, grace-filled, hilarious man and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. He is baby boy's godfather and we need him well!
So happy to have my gang back!

It was so great having you at the DYC. My sentiments are very similar. So special to be a part of so much grace. And your husband does an amazing job as usual!!
