Usually we have a leisurely Saturday morning, however Jujube has been taking a chemistry class at UVA as part of an enrichment program. While she was in class, I ran a few errands and then walked around campus for some exercise. Charlottesville is not lacking in hilly terrain so it was a good workout. I even subjected Julia to a hike back to the van.
The rest of our day at home was nothing exciting, but I tend to prefer that. Max played in the very worn and very loved exersaucer while the big kids entertained themselves outside, inside and right in my work space. I did more sorting/purging/packing even taking inventory on the food situation in the deep freezer, garage fridge and kitchen fridge. We'll have some pretty interesting meals the next few weeks.
Tomorrow we head to Richmond for the open house at Our Lady of Lourdes School. I hope the kids love it as much as MFS and I did on our visit.
Happy weekend!
We gave Ella her birthday gift a day early. She was so tickled seeing herself in a book.

I hear you about the joys of quiet weekends! After the hustle and bustle of the holidays I am so happy to have a January filled with absolutely nothing.
LOVE the birthday book. So clever!
Both my sister and I went to OLL - how cool! Though really strange thinking the kids could have the same teachers as we did :)
