With the exception of Ella's allergy medicine, the School kids rarely take anything. I'm a firm believer in the natural abilities of the immune system and unfortunately my kids are subjected and stuck with At his 5 year well check, Cazin's iron/heme test came back a little on the low side. Low enough that he has to take a daily liquid iron supplement. When I was preparing his dose last night, Ella asked, "What's dat?"
Me: This is iron for Cazin to boost his blood count.
Cazin: Oh, thanks mommy! That'll cheer me right up!
This morning I realized that I cannot wait till Ella gets to wear a uniform. As I directed Ella to her clothes, she was not happy with the selection. When I asked her why she didn't want to wear the outfit, she said with the biggest pout, "But mommy, It's not cute enough."
Thankfully that is all the drama we had today. It was a low key day as the big kids were at school. I began sorting through bins of the kid's clothes in preparation for the move this summer. My goal is to purge/organize/pack a little each day. The sheer thought of all that we accumulated over the past 6 years is enough to keep me working on the goal.

Next time Ella says an outfit isn't cute enough, remind her that she, all on her own, is all the cuteness most people can handle.
I'm in denial that you're moving. Not that I get to see you as much as I'd like, but I sure do love sharing a city with you.
