Pagan no more

Praise the Lord! We had two reasons to celebrate today. Ella's baptism and Julia's 4th birthday. What a wonderful weekend of family and friends and the celebration of Ella's new life as a Christian. The baptism was beautiful and Ella was a complete angel sleeping through all of it. Lola and Auntie Nida prepared a feast for everyone and we stayed up late talking, opening presents, eating and laughing. The weekend was over too fast.
Ella didn't even cry when the cold water hit her head.

The kids received a ton of gifts and I think I will
be addressing thank yous till Ella turns 1.

I have to highlight a special gift we received over the weekend from our friends the Harveys. Carly has some mad skills with the sewing machine and I can't wait till Ella can wear them!Rhoda and Matej (Ma-tay) Bevc (Bay-ootz) flew all the way from St. Louis to attend the baptism and spend the weekend with us. Hopefully they will return to Virginia one day because we miss them terribly!

I also have a prayer request. Please pray for my friend Julie who has been experiencing worsening neurological symptoms. She is due for more testing the upcoming weeks and hopefully the physicians will have some answers and solutions soon.

ok, lots to say - those onesies are adorable. Almost enough to make me want to have another baby. For now, I will just enjoy seeing Miss Ella sport them. That cake by Lola was AMAZING. Fit for our princess, for sure. Finally, I can't believe all of those presents! Goodness gracious!

And thanks for the prayer request.

Can't wait to play soon!

Lola needs to open a cake making business! Never a dull moment in the School house. Birthdays, baptisms, good food, and lots of friends and family! You all are so blessed!

Send me a pic of sweet Ella when she grows into her onesies! And give big hugs and kisses to your family.
