The past week Mike & I having been having trouble with the kids eating their dinner. And the score has been Kids-3, Parents-0. Mike and I vow that we are not going to raise picky eaters. And I am not a short order cook. Well I was determined that the power struggle would end tonight. I was not going to cave. When Julia finally conceded, I thought this was a victory for mommy. She stuffed her mouth with the last morsels and I gave her "positive reinforcement," told her to take her plate to the sink and turned my attention to feeding Ella. I thought I was so good until I looked up saw Jujube spit the food out into the sink! LIVID-NESS!!! (and a little impressed by her moxy). Poor Ella didn't get a peaceful dinner tonight.
The rest of the night turned out to be more of the same struggle. Little man Cazin didn't want to be in the path of my wrath so he ran upstairs, jumped into bed and pulled the covers over his head. Smart boy.

I feel your pain with the eating!! Are you trying the "eat everything on your plate" method or the "eat this or don't eat?" Frances is not necessarily picky, but she doesn't like to try new things. Last night at church she ate cornbread and broccoli. I don't know the answer to this problem, but just wanted to let you know that you are not alone.
Cazin cracks me up. I LOVE that boy.
